Who are you?  I am Scott Petrie. I am an Australian artist. Scott Petrie Tell us about yourself I have always wanted to create and paint. I moved to New York City when I was in my twenties. It was scary but exciting too. I now know it was the best thing to do. I found a studio and just did. I painted and created. For the last 20 years, I have lived my dream and I have painted and exhibited my artworks. What is your main goal?  My biggest goal is to have my art on an aeroplane and I would like to win a major art prize. What has been your greatest achievement to date?  I have won several art prizes and exhibited in many solo and group shows. My artworks frequently commissioned by international interior designers, commercial clients, and for private residences. My greatest achievement is living a working across the globe. I have worked in Sydney, Melbourne, New York, Los Angeles Moroccan, Singapore, and Switzerland. I have created artworks for the renowned architect Renzo Piano for a major project in a residential building in Sydney and work with many well-known interior designers including Greg Natale. At times when you feel lacking in motivate? During the times when you feel lacking in motivation, what helps you get back on track?  I keep moving, maybe go for a walk in nature, go trekking or swimming. I also surround myself with motivated people who inspire me. One of my favorited songs is by “Yaz” “the only way is up” it is very uplifting and fun and great to dance to. What is your key to overcoming self-doubt? I work hard a changing my thinking. I am focusing on the other options – keep moving physically and this can change my thoughts patterns. I write down a list of all the things that I am grateful for. This always lifts my mood and changes my mindset to be more positive. What do you do in your free time?  In my extended free time, I love to travel and enjoy exploring new cultures, the food, the customs, and the environment. What is your life motto or positive affirmation? “Thank you” be grateful
