Who are you?

I’m a dreamer but also a lifestyle photographer, 🙂 Photography is a big part of me and that’s why I always mention when people asked me Who I am…

Photography keeps me inspired all the time and helps me to see simple moments that sometimes on the rush of our days you’re not able to notice.

Photography also made me a better human being.

I fell in love with photography when I was on my advertising university, at the time there were no digital cameras and when I saw the image that I took becoming real on a blank piece of paper I really decided that I wanted to be a photographer for the rest of my life.

I’m very curious about life and I’m in love with sunrises (this is my favorite moment of the day)!

My Parents and siblings live in Brazil and I’m married to a supportive husband, he helps all my dreams come true and funny fact; we have a cute little and tiny dog, however, we named him Hulk.

What were your dreams for your future as a child?

As a child I was very inspired about everything, I wanted to be a professor, singer, model, doctor and even a mermaid hahahaha. I think that’s why I became a photographer, sure I can’t be everything but I can photograph anything I want and that’s some type of freedom.  hahahah Good thing my parents always supported me with all my choices.

What is your wish for the world?

LOVE! The world is passing through a hard moment right now, people need to respect their differences and be more tolerant.

What is your magic place, where you go to relax and unwind?

I could say a beautiful place to make this interview look good, but it’s my sofa. I love to sit there and think about my life.  lol

What has surprised you most about life?

I think I learned a lot in the past few years.

I think when you’re nice to people and treat everybody equally, you kind of receive it back all this good energy that brings all kinds of good things. It looks like magic and it’s so simple.

This is one thing that surprises me the most and I really think everybody should be like that.

What would you most like to change about your approach to life?

I would love to be less anxious but this is a everyday battle. I’m getting better!

What has been the most challenging experience of your life?

Definitely moving to Australia. I had to restart everything again and I left so many things behind, my house, my stable work that I took so many years archive and specially friends that held my hand when I most needed. Tricky thing about life is that you’re a lot stronger than you can imagine and remember,

God doesn’t close one door without to open another with big and greater things. “After the rain”… I had the opportunity to experience so many good things on this beautiful country. My heart is hooked! There’s no place like Australia.

What was the key for you to overcoming a challenge/fear/self doubt/ dark time?

Breath! Don’t let your bad thoughts fool you.

After so many challenges that I have been through,  I just had to understand that life is pretty simple, it is our mistake to make everything harder than it actually is.

We cannot change things that already happen (Fact!) but we can learn how to live better.

Who do you admire most?

My parents.

What advice would you give your younger self?

Be patient. Everything is going to be all right.

What is your life motto?

A very cheesy one:

“Throw kindness around like confetti.”

What is your favourite comfort food?

A Hot Chocolate from max Brenner.

What makes you happy?

The most simple thing: Smiles from my friends, family and clients. See people happy makes me happy.
