Carlo Napolitano, CEO of Castle Debt Solutions. Who are you?  My name is Carlo Napolitano, I live in Menai, Sutherland Shire and I am the proud Father to Ava (20 mths). Tell us about what you do? I have my own business called Castle Debt Solutions. I work with clients to find them a solution to their debt issues. What inspired you to get started?  I enjoy the fact of helping people. Debt and financial woes are one of the main contributors to mental health issues and relationship breakdowns. What is your main goal?  To help as many people as possible. I wanted to create an advice one-stop shop for people to be able to get a free consultation and possibly get a solution. What has been your greatest achievement to date?  The greatest achievement happens daily. The feeling you get when helping someone who has no idea on how the next month is going to look with debt. To provide a solution and give them a stress-free life is amazing. As a parent how do you find calm in the chaos? The time I spend with my little girl. Going for a swim or the park. Clears the mind and makes you realise the important things in life. During the times when you feel overwhelmed or lacking in motivation, what helps you get back on track?  I think you have to be focused on desire and wanting to be a part of something that is life changing. I train every morning and that gives me the surge of energy to attack my tasks for the day. I also know that I have the futures of many people who are looking for a debt solution. I may be their only hope of a stress-free life. Who or what inspires you? My mum and dad inspire me. Both came to the UK with nothing and worked hard to provide a safe and amazing environment for my brother and I. The ability they have shown me on working hard and forward motion has been with me during the process of starting my own business. What do you do to relax and unwind?  I like to cook for friends and family, play sport (As much as possible), play the guitar and just spending time with my little princess. What advice would you give your younger self?  Don’t listen to the naysayers. Follow your vision and believe in yourself. People will try to knock your enthusiasm and confidence. What is your life motto or positive affirmation? Don’t worry about failing, worry about not trying. You can learn a lot of lessons from failing forward. It will make you stronger. Have you ever had a disappointment or setback that ended up leading you to something wonderful? I played professional rugby league in the UK and I broke my leg. From that massive setback, I went on to coach a side in the Rugby League World Cup and started my own business. One door closes, one door opens. Carlo Napolitano, CEO of Castle Debt Solutions.
